Bob and Pam Kaye Timm got started collecting cookie jars because of a gift, a Smiley Pig! They started the search for more Smileys and found so many different types -- their collection now numbers about 300 jars. During their cookie jar searches there were several jars they looked for, but were impossible to find, so Pam decided to make her own jars. She was in the ceramic industry for many years, so the love of designing and painting were not totally new. They love to do historical jars and when they attempt one, the first order of business is the research into the figure. They want to make everything as historically correct as possible. | |

Pam makes all the jars, one at a time and all are a limited edition of 100 jars. The only one that was a higher edition was the jar made for Dick's Towing. Dick owned the original truck that was in the Thelma & Louise movie, that edition is limited to 200. Instead of making salt and peppers to match the jars, they decided to incorporate another one of their collectibles String Holders. So if you like a particular jar, check to see if there is a go-with string holder! The Buffalo Cavalry Soldier is one the latest jars from Kaye's Kreations. The jar is limited to 100 pieces, is 11" high and priced at $80. |
